Overall, I like these suggestions.
It puts important and expected emphasis on fruits and veggies. It also then brings in somewhat more unexpected players as essential fatty acids, mushrooms and herbs. This is great. These are important medicinal foods and emphasizing them in your diet is surely to be helpful.
I’m still not so sold that whole grains should be so foundational, especially the processed pasta. Especially for the wheat/gluten sensitive (which is many of us) the pasta has no place here. Perhaps, with the pasta removed, the grain section would then fit more appropriately some where more up near the eggs or soy protein.
